The autumn collection — small batch, no restocks.

Each piece is numbered and signed by the maker. When they're gone, they're gone — that's the point.

A field guide

From a barn in Appalachia, to your hands.

Green Merc began with a stubborn idea: that the things we live with should outlive us. Not in a landfill — in a hallway, on a shelf, around a shoulder. Passed down, mended, loved.

We work with eleven small studios across the eastern seaboard, sourcing fibers we can trace to a farm and dyes we can trace to a plant. We don't run sales. We don't restock. We don't pretend.

i.

Material honesty

Every fiber, lining, and thread is named on the tag. No mystery blends.

ii.

Repair, free, forever

Send anything back, anytime. We'll fix it and send it home.

iii.

Slow shipping

Carbon-neutral ground freight. It gets there in 7–10 days, on purpose.

How a Green Merc piece comes to be.

Four months from concept to your hands. Sometimes longer. Never shorter.

STEP 01

Source

We visit the farm. We meet the grower. If we can't, we don't buy.

STEP 02

Sketch

Drawings on butcher paper. Prototypes on bodies. No screens until the very end.

STEP 03

Make

Cut, sewn, fired, and finished by hand in studios we know by name.

STEP 04

Send

Wrapped in unbleached muslin. Boxed in recycled fiberboard. Sent slowly.

The Field Letter

Letters from the workshop, once a month.

Recipes, dispatches, early access to drops, and the occasional photograph of the dog. No spam, no upsells.

Make less. Make better.
